Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 4-8 P.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Wilton, IA. Additional visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 10:30 A.M. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, IA. The officiant will be Fr. Robert Busher.
Serving as casket bearers will be Scot Calvert, Aaron Stetson, Jared Maker, Chris Beard, Nick Summy and Miller Yoho.
Private family interment will take place at the Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton, IA following the service.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for her daughter Caralyn.
Laura Elizabeth Brammeier Yoho, 30, of Grimes, IA, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at her home.
Laura was born March 7, 1983 to Douglas and Lenore (Gricol) Brammeier in Davenport, IA. She graduated from Wilton High School in 2001 and from St. Ambrose University, Davenport, IA in 2005 with her Bachelor of Arts degree in sports and human performance. Laura married Nathan R. Yoho on August 13, 2011 in Wilton, IA.
Laura was a personal trainer and fitness manager at Aspen Athletic Club in Des Moines, IA.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, West Des Moines, IA and a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Wilton, IA. Fitness was her life. She took great pride in the accomplishments of the many people she trained and changing peoples lives through fitness. Above all she loved spending time with her family and her kitties (Lou and Oliver).
She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband Nate of Grimes, IA, her daughter Caralyn, due to be born in December through surrogacy, her parents: Doug and Lenore Brammeier of Wilton, IA, her brother Joe and his wife Lynne Brammeier of Bettendorf, IA, her sister Katy and her husband Scot Calvert of North Liberty, IA, her mother and father-in-law Robert and Donna Yoho of West Des Moines, IA and her grandparents: Faye and Louis Brammeier of Wilton, IA. She is also survived by her best friend Kara Stetson of Bettendorf, IA.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Joseph and Barbara Gricol, her uncle Kurt Stolba and her cousin Julie Gricol.
