Linda, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, especially hard for Grandma Phyllis. Time will allow the happy times to come to the forefront, but the reality will never disappear. I'm sure you probably know Al lost five of his brothers and one of his nephews at the age of 41. We know the meaning of immediate loss. Try real hard to enjoy life as the time eases the pain. I thought you would like to hear from a name from the past.
formerly Joyce Regennitter. Enjoy each and every day for we never know what tomorrow will bring. |

There is little else in the world comparable to loosing a child, not matter what the reason, no matter what the age. My hearts aches for you! It is such a LOOONNNGGG haul to get past and sadly, you will adjust but never really move on.
We are very fortunate in life if we have never had a devastating situation that hurts us so deeply as Jasons hurt him. He will stay in my thoughts for many many months...Such emotions are not to be evaluated, only to be gripped with understanding, love and compassion.
In 1998, my step son took his own life. 2 weeks later, my son, Kris hung himself, entangled in rock climbing equipmenmt, 9 days on life support & he also passed on. We buried 2 boys within one month. Life will never be the same. I swore I'd never go to another funeral and I have kept my word so sorry i will not see you in person. I know you will understand.
I know it has been yrs but ANY TIME, ANY DAY, ANY NIGHT, my purpose is to be here for you.

Many years ago, when I was in high school, a couple of guys began to make fun of me, really giving me a hard time. I was still rather new to the town and found myself cornered, really unable to just walk away. After all this time I do not really recall why I was being made fun of or the particulars of the insults, but I will never forget Jason was one of two people that gave me a hand when I needed it that day. Jason and another spoke up for me and in short made them leave me alone. Though it was but a moment years in the past I will forever appreciate the gesture he made on my behalf. I may not have said it then, but thank you Jason. That made a true difference in my life. |
