Fae K. Stahl Friday, November 13, 1925 - Tuesday, January 19, 2010

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2010 from 4-7 P.M. at Calvary United Methodist Church, Walcott, IA. Additional visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the Church. Services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2010, at 10:30 A.M. at the Calvary United Methodist Church, Walcott, IA. The officiant will be Rev. Connie Markle. Musical selections will be provided by organist Dorothy Gibson and vocalist Henry Bentley. Interment will take place at the Walcott Cemetery, Walcott, IA. Memorial donations may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, Walcott, IA in her memory.

Fae K. Stahl, age 84, of Davenport, IA, died on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport, IA. Fae was born November 13, 1925 to Diedrich and Edna (Arp) Eilers. She graduated from Bennett High School in 1942. She then attended AIC in Davenport, IA. She married Harlan G. Tank on September 7, 1945 in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death on October 19, 1973. She later married Howard K. Stahl on June 20, 1981 in Walcott, IA. Fae worked as a bookkeeper for Schlueter Electric, Davenport, IA for 17 years retiring in 1984. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Walcott, IA. She enjoyed playing golf and cards. She and Howard enjoyed dancing and traveling together.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband Howard of Davenport, IA her sons: Jerry and his wife Claudia Tank of Urbandale, IA and Lee and his wife Linda Tank of Bettendorf, IA, her step-daughter Catherine and her husband Bruce Mackay of Des Moines, IA and her step-son John Stahl of Canajaharie, NY, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Harlan Tank.
