Alyene M. Hedden Tuesday, February 18, 1919 - Tuesday, January 19, 2010

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. at Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton, IA. Additional visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the Church. Services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2010, at 2:30 P.M. at the United Methodist Church, Wilton, IA. The officiant will be Rev. Tom Zeleny. Musical selections will be provided by organist Kathy Luethye and vocalist Henry Bentley. Serving as casket bearers will be her grandsons. Interment will take place at the Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton, IA. Memorial donations may be made to United Methodist Church, Wilton, IA in her memory.

Alyene M. Hedden, age 90, of Wilton, IA, died on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Carrington Place in Muscatine, IA. Alyene was born February 18, 1919 to Glenn and Lucille (Cooper) Timmons in London Mills, IL. She married Paul E. Hedden on June 26, 1938 in Middle Grove, IL. He preceded her in death on September 12, 1992. Alyene was a member of the United Methodist Church, Wilton, IA, the Wilton American Legion Auxillary and the Ladies of the Moose, Muscatine, IA. She enjoyed playing cards.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughters: Linda Tetzloff of North Judson, IN and Mary Kirkwood of Lake Havasu, AZ, her son: Robert and his wife Vicki Hedden of Wilton, IA, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, her sisters: Roberta McWilliams of Galesburg, IL and Joan Anderson of Moline, IL and her brothers: Ralph and his wife Madeline Timmons of London Mills, IL, Edward and his wife Virginia Timmons of Canton, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her son Donald Hedden, her sister Francis Timmons, her brothers: Dale, Robert and Ray Timmons and her granddaughter Vania Hedden.
