Thomas C. Wolf Tuesday, May 22, 1917 - Friday, February 19, 2010

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2010 from 10:00 A.M.until the service at Noon at Calvary United Methodist Church, Walcott, IA. The officiant will be Rev. Connie Markle. Musical selections will be provided by organist Dorothy Gibson and vocalist Henry Bentley. Serving as casket bearers will be his grandchildren. Interment will take place at the Walcott Cemetery, Walcott, IA. Memorial donations may be made to the Walcott Fire Department or the Ronald McDonald House in his memory.

Thomas C. Wolf, age 92, of Walcott, IA, died on Friday, February 19, 2010 at Manor Care Health Services Utica Ridge in Davenport, IA. Tom was born May 22, 1917 to Thomas and Louise (Meier) Wolf in Pillager, MN. He married Violet F. Dittmer on March 6, 1936 in Davenport, IA. Tom farmed in Scott County his entire life. He owned and operated his own farm milk route from 1950 - 1960. He was a member of the Scott County Farm Bureau and a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Davenport, IA, the Walcott Community Club and the Eastern Iowa Polka Club. He enjoyed working with wood and gardening. He and Violet enjoyed dancing and playing cards. He was a frequent visitor at McDonald's in Walcott. Above all, he was a farmer at heart and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived and lovingly remembered by his daughter Sandra Paulsen of Durant, IA and his son Dennis and his wife Launa Wolf of Walcott, IA, 7 grandchildren: Shelley (Doug) Lincoln, Darcy (Pat) Cowan, Bart (Linda) Paulsen, Kayla (Jim) Ruter, Renae (Mark) Christopher, Monica Lucas and Denise Sissel, 17 great grandchildren and his sister Edna Grell of Donahue, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his sister Wanda Wolf.
