Michael A. Caffery Wednesday, May 12, 1948 - Tuesday, February 23, 2010

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010, from 4- 7 pm at the Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton, IA. Services will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010, at 10:30 am at the Bentley Funeral Home in Wilton, IA. The officiant will be Pastor Tom Emerick. Inurnment will take place at a later date. A memorial has been established in his memory.

Michael A. Caffery, age 61, of Moscow, IA, died on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at Unity Health Systems Hospital in Muscatine, IA. Mike Caffery was born May 12, 1948, to Eugene and Berdena Bernie (Faber) Caffery in Davenport, IA. He married Susan Lewis on August 14, 1970, in Camden, NJ. He graduated from Wilton High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, during the Vietnam War. Mike was a sales manger for Wilton Precision Steel. Previously he owned and operated Caffery Electric, Wilton, IA. He was an avid Harley enthusiast. He enjoyed boating, traveling and spending time with his dog Ginger. Mike especially enjoyed time in the pool with his grandchildren. Above all, he loved his family and friends.

He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife Sue of Moscow, IA, his daughter Jenni and her husband Jeff Hoffmann of Fairbanks, AK, his son Jason and his wife Jaimie Caffery of Moscow, IA, his grandchildren: Ella, Kale and Leah Caffery,his mother Berdena Bernie Caffery of Davenport, IA, his brother Gary and his wife Jen Caffery of Portland, OR, his sister Sharon Caffery of Dallas, TX, Kelli and her husband Bill Diemer and children Rachael and Austin Creswell of Des Moines, IA along with numerous other nieces and nephews.
