There will be no visitation or funeral services. Private family interment will take place at the Rosehill Cemetery, Buffalo, IA.

Marjorie J. Carle, age 80, of Durant, IA, died on Monday, February 22, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus in Davenport, IA. Marjorie J. Heritage Carle was born April 11, 1929 to Arthur and Florence (Rostenbach) Heritage in Davenport, IA. She married Joseph H. Carle on May 17, 1952 in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death on December 9, 1982. She worked at Nichols Wire and Aluminum for 20 years. She was a member of the Buffalo Friends Quaker Church and the American Legion Auxillary #711 in Blue Grass. She enjoyed playing bingo and being with people.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter: Ronda and her husband Dale Guinn of Durant, IA, her sons: Arthur and his wife Michele Carle of Calamus, IA and Thomas and his wife Sue Ahrens of Davenport, IA, her stepson Gene and his wife Cheri Carle of Colorado,her stepdaughter Joan and her husband Dennis Weber of Colorado, 18 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Flora Mae, 5 siblings: LaVerna, Robert, Raymond, Rosie Fulton and Doris Smith.
