Gary L. Stouffer Saturday, April 26, 1952 - Thursday, February 25, 2010

Gary Lee Stouffer passed from this world to the next on Thursday, February 25, 2010. May he find peace and joy at last. Honoring Garys wishes there were no services.

Gary was born April 26, 1952 in Amboy, IL, the son of Elton (Cy) and Evelyn (Bryant) Stouffer. He married Judy K. Jurgens on March 14, 1998 in Bensenville, IL. He graduated from Amboy High School and worked for Hart-Carter Manufacturing Co. for over 20 years. He then earned his associate degree at Sauk Valley Community College, Dixon, IL and greatly enjoyed helping people as an x-ray and MRI technician. He loved all animals, especially cats. He raced motorcycles when he was younger and his love of motorcycles continued throughout his life. Guns were a special interest that he shared with his brother, Rick.

He is survived by his wife Judy; step-daughters: Dana (Paul) Moran of Chicago, IL and Rebecca (Dave)Vannier and their son Dylan of Knoxville, TN, his brother Rick of Amboy, IL; niece Roxie (Danny) George and their sons of Witchita, KS; nephew Brian Stouffer and his family of Mendota, IL and a special aunt Marjorie Ritchie of Independence, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents. A special thank you to Dr. Christa McLaughlin for her compassionate care and to Meredith and Wendy all at Genesis Health Group on Division Street in Davenport. Memorials may be made to Friends of the Animals, PO Box 383, Tipton, IA 52772 in his memory.
