Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2010 from 2-4 P.M. at Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton, IA. Following visitation a gathering of family and friends will be held at Fros in Wilton. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Overman Cemetery, Atalissa, IA Memorial donations may be made to to the family in his memory.

Joseph C. Ford, age 47, of Atalissa, IA, died on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at his home. Joe was born October 17, 1962 to John and Joyleen (Lueth) Ford in Iowa City, IA. He married Darlene Keckler on September 30, 1983 in St. Louis, MO. She preceded him in death on May 27, 1991. He worked at Black Hawk Foundry, Davenport, IA

He is survived and lovingly remembered by his daughters: Jessica (James) Rife of Atalissa, IA and Amanda (Dalen) Spies of Rochester, IA, 3 grandchildren, his parents John and Joyleen Ford of West Liberty, IA, his sisters Jody McKillip of West Liberty, IA and Diane Ford of Leeds, AL and his brothers: Jim Ford of Illinois, Johnny (Carolyn)Ford of Muscatine and Jeff (Candy) Ford of Moscow, IA.

He was preceded in death by his wife and his sons: Matthew and Jacob Ford in 1992.
