Twyla "Sis" J. Marolf Wednesday, September 16, 1925 - Saturday, June 05, 2010

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from 4-7 P.M. at Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton, IA. Services will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. at the Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton, IA. The officiant will be Chaplain Ken Kline. Musical selections will be provided by organist Linda Timmsen and vocalist Henry Bentley. Serving as pallbearers will be Twylas grandchildren and nephews. Interment will take place at the Moscow Cemetery, Moscow, IA. Memorial donations may be made to Genesis Hospice or the Muscatine County Fair in her memory.

Twyla Sis J. Marolf, age 84, of Moscow, IA, died on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, IA. Twyla was born September 16, 1925 to Roy and Irma (Freyermuth) Gauger in Muscatine, IA. She married Rolland D. Marolf on October 26, 1947 in Muscatine, IA. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1991. Twyla worked at the Cove Restaurant, MISCO and Montgomery Ward. She was a member of the Muscatine Moose Lodge and a former member of the Cedar County Farm Bureau and the Wilton Saddle Club. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She collected antique glass and enjoyed dancing and watching her family exhibit livestock at County and State fairs.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her sons: Randy and his wife Karen Marolf of Moscow, IA and Dale and his wife Sandy Marolf of Durant, IA, 7 grandchildren, her great granddaughter, her sister Verna Denkman of Moscow, IA and brother Ronald and his wife Joyce Gauger of West Liberty, IA. She is also survived by her special friend Wayne Spilger of Atalissa, IA.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
